Science and Conservation Studies - Research
SCS students participate in research and field work with wildlife rehabilitation centers, non-profit environmental organizations, national parks and government agencies.
This year, students are:
- mapping routes for the Continental Divide Trail in New Mexico (with the federal Bureau of Land Management)
- researching the ruins at Bandelier National Monument
- rehabilitating habitat at the Wildlife Center
- performing 7-credit internships at National Parks throughout the West (including Canyonlands, Organ Pipe, Redwoods and Point Reyes)
