Science and Conservation Studies - Study Abroad
Instituto Terra in Brazil
Each year, a number of CSF students opt to spend a semester in Brazil at the Instituto Terra, a center for environmental study and restoration of the endangered Atlantic Rainforest of southeastern Brazil. Students learn Portuguese and study the science and culture of this critically endangered tropical ecosystem. As the forest is restored, students monitor the return of bird populations while working with local residents on sustainability projects.
Yucatan, Mexico
Thirty CSF students are spending the summer months studying conservation and documentary studies in the Yucatan area of Mexico.
