Housing - Rates, Forms, Policies
Priority deadline for on-campus housing is April 1. Students who wish to live on campus must complete an application for campus housing and make a $200 deposit, which includes a $50 room reservation fee and $150 damage deposit.
Housing Application
The housing application is required for all students who are requesting on-campus housing. This form can be obtained via mail or fax; send your request to reslife@csf.edu.

Wait Lists
Wait Lists are initiated at the beginning of Housing Selection and are valid through the upcoming fall and spring semesters. You can have your name added to any list throughout the year, and you may add your name to as many lists as you want. To add your name, stop by the Housing and Residential Life Office or send an e-mail to: reslife@csf.edu. Provide your telephone number (cell phone preferred) and personal e-mail address on the Wait List and update as necessary.
Vacancies are filled according to:
- credits earned,
- placement on list, and
- roommate compatibility (when necessary).
Offers will be made by telephone, voice-mail, and/or personal e-mail. You have 48 hours to respond after an offer is made. If you reject a suitable offer or fail to respond, your name will be removed from the list. You may ask to be wait-listed again further down the list.
Room Assignment Notification
If your application is submitted:
- before July 1, written confirmation of your placement will be mailed by July 15.
- before July 20, written confirmation of your placement will be mailed by August 1.
- after August 1, written confirmation of your placement will NOT be mailed; your assignment will be waiting for you at orientation check-in on August 18.
College of Santa Fe reserves the right to change assignments if need arises.
