Degree Requirements
128 credits are required in bachelor degree programs. At least 30 credits of the last 36 must be earned at College of Santa Fe and 48 credits in the bachelor's degree program must be at the junior and senior level. The MBA is 36 credits in length and the MA in Education degrees vary from 36 to 60 credits in length.
In addition to credits earned by taking classes at our campuses, the college accepts credits earned:
- at other accredited colleges and universities,
- through the College Level Examination Program (CLEP),
- through the American Council on Education recommendations for military education, and
- through the Prior Learning Portfolio (available for undergraduate credit only), in which college-level learning accumulated through life experiences is documented. Credits awarded through the portfolio process may be counted in the major, as upper division, toward liberal arts core requirements or as electives.
