Fine Arts Gallery - One Two and Many
On Friday, May 2, from 5 to 7 p.m., the CSF Fine Arts Gallery presents the BFA exhibition "ONE TWO AND MANY", featuring the work of:
- Brittny Dayes
- Nicole Kurland
- Katherine Lee
- Genevieve Martin
- Brandon Soder
- Kelsy Waggaman
- Darrah Wills
- Stephanie Wilson
This is an exhibition by the graduating seniors with the BFA degree in Studio Art.
From a Shirley Temple installation by Darrah Wills to Brandon Soder's "Seven Deadly Sins" series of photographs, ONE TWO MANY showcases the full range of ideas coming out of the College of Santa Fe.
Both Brittny Dayes and Nicole Kurland explore issues of time -- through photography and painting, respectively, while Stephanie Wilson sees cholla as a subject that speaks about sustenance and survival.
Kelsy Waggaman's video and photo-documents tackle sexual politics in an almost Buster Keaton-esque way. Finally, Katherine Lee's paintings pulse with skill and beauty, in contrast to the tension of Genevieve Martin's weighty and tragic sculptures.
