Transfer Students

College of Santa Fe welcomes applications from students who have attended other colleges or universities.

To Apply

To apply to CSF as a transfer student, you must submit the following:

  1. A completed application. Applications for admission can be completed online with the Common Application withor printed out and mailed to us.
  2. The application fee. A non-refundable fee of $35 must accompany your application. Your check or money order should be made payable to College of Santa Fe.
  3. Your official high school transcripts if you have less than 30 transferable credits. Have your high school send a copy of your transcripts to us.
  4. Your official transcripts from every college you've attended. You should contact the registrar of each college and request that a copy of your transcript be sent directly to CSF.
  5. SAT or ACT scores if you've been out of high school less than two years or have less than 30 transferable credits. You may contact the College Board to request that your SAT scores be sent or ACT, Inc. to send your ACT scores. Our SAT number is 4676. Our ACT number is 2648.

With your application, you must also include any personal essays, portfolios or videotapes that are representative of your work.

Though it's not required, we encourage you visit campus where you can also schedule an interview with your Admissions Counselor.

After You've Applied

Once you've been admitted to the college, you'll be asked to submit a $200 confirmation fee. After we've received this fee, we will issue an official evaluation of transfer credits. Prior to confirmation, you can get an unofficial evaluation of the number of credits likely to transfer by contacting the Admissions Office.
