- Lab Fees - Some courses, such as those with labs, require an additional fee.
- Additional Expenses - You should also budget approximately $500 each semester for books and take into consideration your particular travel expenses, school supplies and personal needs. Also, you should budget for slight increases each year.
- Student health insurance - All full-time traditional students and all students who live in campus housing are required to have health insurance prior to the first day of classes. Students with insurance that covers health care in New Mexico may submit their insurance card and coverage information to the Student Financial Services Office before the beginning of the semester to have the college's health insurance fee waived. Waivers are required to avoid charges for the college's mandatory health insurance.
